Learning, Teaching, Training Activity of the COTW Erasmus+ Project

The first Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA) of the Citizen of the World project took place in Palermo, Sicily along with the transnational meeting of the project held from Tuesday the 26th of April to Thursday the 28th of April 2022.

This LTTA dealt with the topic of empowering adult migrants through tools developed in the COTW project´s Intellectual output 1 (IO1): International Handbook for Professionals working to empower marginalized migrants, which can be downloaded here.

The LTTA was hosted by CESIE and led by the COTW project consortium members Liselott Ferrada Andersson (Vetlanda Lärcentrum, Sweden), Šárka Paličková (Centrum demokratického vzdělávání, Czech Republic) and Paula L. Goltzche (CESIE, Italy). Adult education instructors and activity facilitators from the project organisations participated as well, and learned and tried out the activities from the IHP.

During the LTTA training, the COTW project team introduced the content of the practical Handbook on empowering migrants through education and informal activities. Participants got to know about contexts and the starting points of the Handbook, learn about the theoretical and methodological concepts we stress when working with migrants, and try and discuss activities the COTW project team suggested.

The event has received great feedback from all the participants. The agenda of the LTTA can be downloaded here.
